I haven’t done one of these in a while, there is alot that has been happening around the Internets (still not sure why it’s plural but just conform to accepted practice and adopt plural) that I wanted to share.
I am going to shamelessly admit that I only became an Apple convert sometime last year, so my little iFamily with MacBook and iPhone 3GS expanded in the space of six months. Visionary Apple founder Steve Jobs passed away today yet his inspiring vision applies not just to his work but more so to life and what we make of it.
A real, unadulterated analysis of politics in the Middle East by a Middle Eastern blogger, journalist and writer, with an often witty take on serious events.
Am feeling proud of my fellow country men and women back in Oz for 1) new musical delights, even blogged by blogger supremo Kelly Oxford and 2) hilarious and very clever Youtube skits which take the p*** out of the internet and modern day follies(I am about 4 years behind on this one)
It’s always a positive sign when Germany’s most high brow,respected newspaper takes on Gwyneth Paltrow and her GOOP blog in which the writer argues Gwyn has alienated much of middle class American women with her perfection (in German).
This visual treat of the absolutely delightful Masters of Renaissance Portraits exhibition which I saw last week at the Bode Museum in Berlin is as close as you may get to the actual paintings, as it’s near impossible to get tickets.
